Bringing Mental Health Support to Rural, Regional, and Remote Communities

At Millie Hardie Psychology, I understand the unique challenges faced by individuals living in rural, regional, and remote areas. Access to mental health services can often feel out of reach, but that’s where telehealth makes a difference.

As a passionate advocate for rural mental health, I also work with the Rural Doctors Network, giving me a unique insight into the specific barriers that rural communities face when accessing mental health support. This experience informs my approach, allowing me to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that truly meets the needs of those in rural and remote locations.

Telehealth bridges the gap, allowing you to connect from the comfort of your own space, no matter how far you are from traditional services. Whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, or just need someone to talk to, I offer personalised, confidential support tailored to your needs. Your well-being matters, and together we can make a difference – no matter where you are.

I work with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including mood disorders (e.g., depression), anxiety disorders (e.g., social anxiety). I also support individuals navigating life transitions, managing anger and stress, and developing relaxation and mindfulness skills. Other areas of focus include, building self-esteem and confidence, exploring meaning and purpose, and improving assertiveness and interpersonal communication. Additionally, I assist with relationship difficulties and overall self-development.

I currently offer individual telehealth therapy, tailored to meet your unique needs. These online one-on-one sessions to help you manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other personal challenges. Secure and confidential online therapy sessions, allow you to receive support from the comfort of your home. Telehealth eliminates geographical barriers, providing flexibility and accessibility for those with busy schedules, mobility challenges, or living in rural and remote areas.

Please note: I am currently not accepting face-to-face clients and exclusively offer telehealth services.
